چکیده
Micronutrients are required by the plants in small quantities, but they very important for plant to compete life cycle with this present experiment was conducted at Agricultural Research Station, Hagari, Ballari, Karnataka evaluate response of iron and boron on uptake nutrients soil nutrient status after harvest safflower during two consecutive years 2020-21. The consisted seven treatments, includes T1: Absolute control, T2: RDF (40:40:12.5 kg NPK +30 Sulphur +15 ZnSO4 ha-1), T3: + 15 FeSO4ha-1, T4: 1.0 Boron ha-1, T5: FeSO4 ha-1+ T6: 20 T7: 1.5 ha-1 T8: +1.5 which replicated thrice randomized complete block design. results revealed that combined application i.e. 100% recommended dose fertilizer (RDF) along per ha (T8) recorded significantly higher N. P. K. Fe B crop. availability N, K were control P, T8:RDF ha-1+1.5 treatments.

Quality evaluation of safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) cultivars
Abstract Safflower is a minor oilseed crop in Australia where the market is dominated by canola, cottonseed and sunflower. Safflower however offers an alternative oilseed crop in marginal areas. This study was designed to evaluate current safflower lines and to determine their potential value both for edible oil and meal for animal feed. Two sets of samples were analysed. The first was a collec...

The aim of the present investigation was to determine the effect of plant growth regulators viz., kinetin, chlorocholine chloride (CCC) and salicylic acid (SA) on achene yield and oil quality of safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) cv. Thori pertaining to biodiesel production. The growth regulators were applied at 10M as foliar spray during flowering (140 days after sowing). Kinetin was highly e...
